VISITOR TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Visitor Terms & Conditions apply specifically to all persons attending or seeking to attend any Event organised under the Global Games Show brand as a visitor, attendee, or delegate (whether or not they have purchased a Ticket). By attending or attempting to attend an Event, you agree to these terms in their entirety. These terms supplement and are to be read alongside the main Website Terms & Conditions.

V1-Admission & Entry

V1.1  Admission to any Event is conditional on: (a) possession of a valid Ticket or registration confirmation; (b) production of valid government-issued photo identification upon request; (c) compliance with all health, safety, and security procedures at the Event venue; (d) acceptance of and compliance with the Event Code of Conduct; (e) compliance with any age restrictions applicable to the Event or any part thereof.

V1.2  The Organiser reserves the right, without liability or refund, to refuse admission to or remove from any Event any person who: (a) cannot produce a valid Ticket or registration; (b) fails to produce valid identification upon request; (c) is under the influence of alcohol or any substance and is acting in a way that negatively impacts others; (d) possesses any prohibited item; (e) has breached or is suspected of breaching the Event Code of Conduct or these Terms; (f) in the opinion of the Organiser or Event security, represents a risk to the safety, security, or reputation of the Event.

V1.3  Security screening, including bag checks, body scanning, and x-ray screening, may be conducted at any Event. You must comply with all security screening procedures. The Organiser reserves the right to confiscate prohibited items without compensation.

V2 — Event Conduct

V2.1  You must comply with: (a) the Event Code of Conduct; (b) all applicable UAE federal and emirate-level laws; (c) all laws of the jurisdiction in which the Event is held where outside the UAE; (d) all venue rules and regulations; (e) all instructions issued by the Organiser, venue management, or security personnel; (f) all health, safety, and emergency procedures at the Event venue.

V2.2  You must not engage in any form of solicitation, canvassing, or marketing activity at the Event without the Organiser’s prior written consent. Unauthorised distribution of promotional materials, flyers, or merchandise is prohibited.

V2.3  You must not obstruct exits, tamper with safety signage, or interfere with any equipment provided for safety and protection.

V2.4  Responsible consumption: Anyone found to be under the influence of any substance and acting in a way that negatively impacts others may be removed from the Event without refund. Alcohol, smoking, vaping, and tobacco products may only be consumed where and when expressly permitted by the Event venue.

V3 — Personal Property & Risk

V3.1  You are solely responsible for the safeguarding of all personal property brought to the Event. The Organiser accepts no liability for theft, loss, or damage to personal property at any Event.

V3.2  You expressly assume all risks associated with attendance at the Event, including risks associated with any activities, demonstrations, product showcases, networking areas, or other elements forming part of the Event programme.

V3.3  Physical activities: Where any activity forming part of the visitor programme is physically demanding, you are solely responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate to your capabilities and health. If you have any concerns about your health or fitness to participate, consult a medical professional before engaging. If at any time during any activity you feel unwell, stop immediately and seek appropriate assistance.

V4 — Photography, Recording & Media

V4.1  You consent to filming, sound recording, and photography at the Event, which may include footage featuring your image. The Organiser is the sole and exclusive owner of all rights in such content and may use it anywhere in the world for promotional and other purposes without payment or compensation. You waive all related rights and claims.

V4.2  Any filming, livestreaming, sound recording, or photography by you at the Event requires prior written approval from the Organiser. Unauthorised recording is prohibited and recorded material must be surrendered or destroyed on demand.

V5 — Badge & Data

V5.1  Your Event Badge is for your personal use only and may not be shared, transferred, sold, or lent to any other person.

V5.2  If you choose to allow your Badge to be scanned by an exhibitor, sponsor, or other third party at the Event, you consent to your personal contact information being shared with that third party. The Organiser has no control over how third parties use your data following badge scanning.

V5.3  Certain areas of the Event may be sponsored and your entry into those areas may be conditional on your personal information being shared with the relevant sponsor. By entering those areas you consent to such sharing.

V6 — Sustainability

V6.1  We encourage all Attendees to consider sustainable travel options where possible, to make use of any recycling and sustainable waste disposal points provided at the Event venue, and to respect the environmental practices of the host city and venue.

V7 — Limitation of Liability

V7.1  All indemnities, warranties, representations, and conditions (whether express or implied) except as set out herein are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. The Organiser’s liability to any Visitor in connection with any Event is limited to the amount paid by that Visitor for their Ticket.

V7.2  The rights and remedies of the Organiser are cumulative and not exclusive of any rights and remedies provided by law. No delay or failure to exercise any right constitutes a waiver.
